At Paul Wood Photography we are serious about getting the best possible quality print into the hands of our customers. All prints below 16 inches (40cm) on the short side are produced in house using an Epson Professional wide-format printer loaded with genuine Epson inks. We also source and use high quality, acid free photographic paper to ensure your print will last for years.
Prints larger than 16 inches (40cm) on the short side are printed at one of our trusted print labs. Each print is thoroughly inspected before being sent out to our customers. If the quality isn’t good enough to hang on our walls at Paul Wood Photography then we will have it re-printed.
Borders Around Prints
Unless otherwise stated in the description, the print size listed denotes the dimensions of the actual printed area of the photo. In order to make framing easier your print will come with an additional white border around its edge.
If you would like the print to arrive with no border we can trim the white space off at no additional cost. Please ensure you let us know you want this in the notes section of the checkout.
A Note on Print Colours
Whilst every measure is taken to ensure that your print accurately matches the photo you see on your screen – unless you have a fully calibrated monitor you may see slight differences in colour or brightness between your print and this website. If you are unhappy with your print in any way please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us so we can work out a solution.
If You Aren’t Happy – Nor Are We
At Paul Wood Photography we have very high standards when it comes to the prints that we sell. If we wouldn’t have it hanging on our wall then we don’t expect that you would want it on yours.
Having said that – if you are unhappy in any way with your purchase, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us so that we can work out the best course of action. From a re-print, to an exchange, to a refund of the purchase price – we will always aim to ensure you are fully satisfied with your purchase.
Damage in Transit
While we are always very careful to pack our products appropriately before sending them to you – sometimes things go wrong and a print is damaged in transit. We always choose insured shipping methods so please be sure to let us know straight away so we can organise getting a re-print to you. It always helps if you take photos of any damaged packaging before you open it and of any damage to the product inside so we can deal with the carrier.
When you order a print from us it is made to order. We get to work right away, but the printing process does take a little bit of time to ensure a great quality product. Prints smaller then 16 inches (40cm) on the short side are generally printed in-house and will take around 2 days to prepare. Larger prints need to go to our partner lab and will take an extra 2-3 days (so around 5 total) before we can send them out.
Smaller prints will come to you flat packed, larger ones will come carefully rolled into a sturdy postage tube. A great deal of care is taken to ensure each print is protected from damage during transit.
We also make sure to insure all posted items so if there is any damage during transit we will be able to send you a replacement quickly and easily.
How long the print will take to arrive will depend on where you are in the world! Please contact us if you would like to discuss approximate shipping times to your area.
Unfortunately we don’t offer a local pickup option at this time.
A good print deserves to be surrounded by a good frame. Unfortunately due to the prohibitive cost of shipping fully finished and framed prints, we are not currently able to offer this service.
However, each Paul Wood Photography print will come with our easy to follow framing guide along with our suggestions for matt and frame colours, sizes and shapes. You will be able to take the guide in to your local frame shop and have them put the final touches to your print. We’re also more than happy to help if you have any framing or mounting questions. Just send us a message either before or after your purchase.
IKEA offers some very cost effective and great looking frames. We offer some of our prints in ‘IKEA ready’ sizes to make framing ultra easy if you live near an IKEA store. Just look for ‘IKEA Ready’ in the print size box.
